[NAFEM 19 PREVIEW] What to Look for in Orlando Part 2

As you may have seen before, we already went through part one of what you should look for at The NAFEM Show 2019. Well, here is part two, including an entire range of new solutions from Champion, a new ultra-thin dinnerware collection from HLC, a renewed focus on reliability and sustainability from our friends at T&S Brass, the journey of a meal with Unified Brands, and HACCP temperature monitoring from Cooper-Atkins.

NEW PRODUCTS FROM CHAMPIONchampionindustries

Champion will unveil new solutions in just about every segment of their product line. A new control panel with a delime function was added to the UH130B undercounter units, and the DH6000 door-type machines have been redesigned with new features. The PRO series rack/conveyor line adds the 64” family and is getting a redesigned blower/dryer, as well as a redesigned heat recovery option. The Champion flight machine will be sporting a new state-of-the-art dual touchscreen control cabinet, and they will be simulating a ventless dishroom on the show floor at NAFEM in booth #2029.

THE GALA COLLECTION FROM HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA

Gala HLC

Homer Laughlin is not known for ultra-thin dinnerware, but the new Gala collection has the lightest gauge and carrying weight in the entire HLC portfolio. Consider this. Their 10 3/8-inch dinner plates come in at just 23.9 ounces in weight, which is .9 ounces less than the closest competitor and 3.6 ounces lighter than the average weight of the competition. This fine, light collection is great for high-end applications and comes in both wide rim and mid rim formats. See Gala in booth #3729.

A NEW FOCUS FOR T&S BRASS

Also look for the sustainable low-flow hydrogenerator, an updated spray valve on the B-0107, and the EC-3105, which introduces a new sensor faucet to the restaurant industry. See these innovations and more in booth #3035.

THE JOURNEY OF A MEAL WITH UNIFIED BRANDS

Unified Brands LogoNot only will Unified Brands be taking people on a behind-the-scenes journey of meal prep – from produce to plate, they will be showcasing the newest solutions from Avtec, Groen, Power Soak, and Randell. From washing to food prep, venting to cooking, the journey begins at booth #4112.

HACCP TEMPERATURE MONITORING FROM COOPER-ATKINS

Cooper-Atkins-1-transparentCooper-Atkins will have a full suite of temperature monitoring solutions in this year's NAFEM booth. The NotfiEye cloud-based temperature monitoring and notification system will be on display with immersion probes, product simulator sensors, humidity sensors, open/close sensors, and temperature sensors. Also on display will be the Blue2 Kit, which transmits temperatures wirelessly to your mobile device, the KwikSwitch folding thermocouple instrument, and the HACCP Manager handheld data-collecting instrument. See the most accurate temperature monitoring equipment at booth #4100.
